If you’re debating if Blossom and Bee is worth trying - DO IT! Everyone needs to taste Heidi’s amazing cakes! Honestly amazing!! We kid you not when we say there were only 4 cupcakes left over at our wedding from the 80 we ordered! We had so many compliments and so many surprised faces that the cakes were vegan. (The only complaints we had, were guests saying they wanted more cake - so our fault for not ordering more!)
Heidi is a beautiful soul and just outright amazing at what she does. We gave Heidi a general idea about our wedding theme and colours and then left it to her to be creative. The cakes were stunning, beautiful and super yummy! Heidi went above, beyond and just exceeded all expectations!!

Having Heidi design and bake our wedding cake was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding planning process. Once we had chosen our wedding date & venue, the first thing we booked was our cake because we were so excited to have a vegan wedding cake - and she absolutely lived up to all our expectations, and beyond. Heidi made not only the tastiest vegan cake we've ever tried, but the tastiest cake, full stop. And not only that - it was also the most strikingly beautiful cake we've ever seen.
Heidi kindly sent us not one but two taster boxes so that we could have a virtual tasting with my parents as we live several hours away from each other. They don't usually expect much from vegan alternatives but they were bowled over by how delicious the tasters were and my mum even asked for some tips from her!
After corresponding via email, it was so wonderful to meet Heidi (and her lovely mum Jo!) when we went to have our consultation in her workshop a couple of months before the wedding. She is so warm, sweet, and funny, and we had the most amazing couple of hours in her company talking about (and eating) cake, designs and other wedding details. We didn't have a clear vision in mind for the cake going into the meeting, but Heidi took in all of the other details of our day and our general mood-board to suggest several wonderful ideas for us, and we were so happy with the final design we settled on and now couldn't imagine having anything different.
On the day, when we had a first look at the reception space, we were delighted to find that Heidi had stayed behind after setting up the cake to see us. It was such a lovely surprise to get to thank her in person, and so thoughtful of her. We are still in awe of the cake itself and how incredibly it tied in with the rest of our wedding details. One of the most frequent compliments we had from our guests was on the cake, not only how it looked but also how it tasted. And we were very glad we had ordered more than we needed because eating all the leftovers during the following week really extended the wedding joy!
If we ever need a special occasion cake again, we'll be sure to go back to Blossom & Bee, and Heidi - we can't recommend her enough!!

Heidi created the most visually stunning and delicious cake for our wedding in April 2023. She was a delight to work with and we will absolutely be coming back to Heidi to create the cake for our daughter's name day ceremony next year, and for all special events in the future!
